A- Plot Generation
The “Plot” is the actor responsible for spawning buildings, parks, some city props, and most of the time sidewalks.
To create a plot:
– Select a set of roads that make up a close loop.
– Then in the Mode Toolbar, click on the “plot” icon.
– Set the “Plot Props” to “Matrix_Plot_Props” & the “Building Data” to “Matrix_PBG_Buildings_Def_CD”.
– Hit the “Accept” button to generate the plot.

B- Previewing a Plot
To preview a plot, select any plot in the level. In the detail panel, go to “Spawning” tab and check “Real-Time Edition”.
There you can randomize the plot components using the randomize attributes (Randomize All, Randomize Buildings etc…).
Note: The placeholder buildings aka PSB Buildings can only generate real mesh buildings once the plot is baked. On how to set up a PSB Building, look at this section.

C- Baking a Plot
Baking is the process of spawning the plot components as definitive actors. This process is irreversible and done, most of the time at the end of the city layout.
To bake a plot, select it, in the “detail panel”, go to “PCC Command” tab and click on “0- Spawn Plot Contents”.

D- Spawning Real Mesh Buildings.
To spawn real mesh buildings, we need to set the building prefabs list to use.
– Open the “PCC_PSB_2_PBG_Widget” located in “ProceduralCityCreator -> PCC_Widget” folder.
– Click on “Graph” situated at the top right corner.
– In “my blueprint panel” search for “prefab list”, and set its field value to “PBG_Matrix_Prefabs_List_Data”.
– Save and compile.
Still, in the same folder, locate “PCC_Main_Widget”, right-click on it, and select “Run Editor Utility Widget”. Dock the widget panel where you want it.

Now, select any PSB Building and click on “Spawn PBG for selected PSBuilding” in the widget.
You can batch-spawn buildings for several PSBs or all PSBs in the level by using their respective commands in the widget.
