There is a situation where you want to have a section of the plot to spawn only car parking, another section for Buildings, and so on.
To do that select the target plot, duplicate it “CTRL D”, and make sure the new plot has the same transform as the original plot, by copying and pasting the transform of the target plot to the new plot.
For the sake of clarity let us name the original plot “Plot A” and the new plot “Plot B”.
– Select “Plot B”, and deactivate “real-time edition” for fast edition.
– Turn off all props systems starting from the “Sidewalk System – SS” tab down to the “Props At Spline Points – PAP” tab.
– In the “Spawning” tab look for “Plot Priority” and set it to a high number. The priority value determines which plot has priority over others. The big value has more priority.
– Now, we need to edit the spline points of “Plot B” to cover the area we want it. Select its spline points and move them to create the shape you want.
Note: To add a new point, click on the spline where to add the point and right-click and choose “add spline point here”. On the other hand, you can delete any point, by selecting it and pressing the delete key.
Note: The Plot B spline points must be contained inside the area covered by “Plot A” to avoid leaking.
– That is all. You can set the new “spawn algorithm” type for “Plot B” and turn on “real-time edition” to see the result.
Note: If the two grounds are overlapping, you can move “Plot B” up a bit or set “Add Ground Plane” to “false” in the “General” tab.
